An exciting opportunity awaits an accomplished leader to take on the role of Campus Director at a new, cutting-edge technical and vocational training institution based in Amman. This role will provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership during the pre-opening phase and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the pre-opening of the new campus, overseeing construction, procurement of specialized technical equipment, staffing, and facility setup.
Build and nurture a collaborative team and establish a strong, mission-aligned campus culture.
Develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring alignment with labor market needs and institutional vision.
Establish operational systems, policies, and procedures to support academic and administrative excellence.
Oversee TVET program development, ensuring curriculum quality, relevance, and industry alignment.
Build strong partnerships with local industry, government, and community stakeholders to facilitate student internships, apprenticeships, and employment pathways.
Manage campus infrastructure, risk, and facility operations, ensuring full compliance with national and local regulations.
Develop and oversee the annual budget, capital planning, and financial reporting.
Support the recruitment, enrolment, and overall experience of students, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a similar field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum 8 years of senior-level experience in managing large facilities or campuses.
Proven experience in TVET, including familiarity with technical curricula, pedagogy, and equipment.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, including experience in pre-opening new institutions.
Demonstrated ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders, including government agencies and local communities.
Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, audits, and reporting.
Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is required.
Preferred Experience:
Hands-on experience setting up and managing workshops and laboratories with specialized equipment.
Familiarity with property and infrastructure management, HR processes, and third-party coordination.
Background in higher education, community colleges, or the hotel/residence sector is a plus.
Experience with grant management and public funding mechanisms is highly desirable.
