In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive business continuity and resilience programs. You will ensure that the organization can effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from operational disruptions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to build robust strategies that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and risk assessments.
Establish and maintain business continuity policies and frameworks.
Lead post-incident reviews and implement corrective actions.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation
Identify and assess risks that could impact operations.
Develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with key departments.
Ensure alignment between risk programs and corporate strategy.
Crisis Management & Incident Response
Coordinate emergency response efforts and lead crisis management activities.
Facilitate timely communication and decision-making during disruptions.
Training & Awareness
Deliver training sessions and awareness programs across all departments.
Organize drills, simulations, and workshops to build response readiness.
Compliance & Auditing
Ensure adherence to applicable standards and regulatory frameworks.
Conduct internal audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Performance Monitoring
Track key resilience metrics and monitor program performance.
Report program effectiveness to leadership and key stakeholders.
✅ Qualifications
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
Advanced degree and professional certifications (e.g., CBCP, CRISC, CISA) preferred.
Experience:
5+ years in business continuity, disaster recovery, or risk management, preferably within the refining or petrochemical sector.
Proven ability to implement risk mitigation and resilience strategies.
Experience engaging with regulatory authorities and audit bodies.
Key Skills:
Deep understanding of risk management, compliance, and business continuity practices.
Strong analytical, organizational, and facilitation skills.
Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
