In this role, you will provide consolidation services to a variety of stakeholders across the globe, ensuring compliance with internal and external accounting and reporting requirements. About the Role
In this position, you will contribute to the financial success of a global leader by participating in monthly consolidations, training teams, and analyzing financial data to meet regulatory requirements. Your role will be essential in driving process improvements and ensuring that the consolidation function operates effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the monthly consolidation process for multiple product groups.
- Guide and mentor the team to ensure timely and high-quality results.
- Conduct training programs for internal teams to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Analyze consolidated financial statements to ensure compliance with stakeholder requirements.
- Prepare financial reports for senior management.
- Provide guidance on financial management systems and support for accounting teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audits (SOX, Substantive).
- Continuously improve processes with an innovative approach using data analytics and digital solutions.
- Collaborate with global teams to drive results and improve performance.
What You’ll Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in consolidation within a large multi-national, multi-currency organization.
- Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of IFRS; experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is a plus.
- Experience in preparing consolidated statements of cash flows and accounting for financial assets and liabilities.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure in a multi-time zone environment.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SAP is beneficial.
