Key Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services, as delegated by a physician.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals to assess patient needs, plan and implement patient care plans, and monitor and record patient progress.
• Educate and counsel patients on disease prevention and positive health and lifestyle choices.
• Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to keep abreast of medical advancements.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• A current Physician Assistant license.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to make decisions and work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and medical office software.
• Spanish Proficency.
